Congratulations to Mrs. Perdon!!! She wrote a grant for pets in the classroom. Each 2nd grade teacher received hermit crabs. The grant provided 2nd grade with a free hermit crab starter kit which included the terrarium, food, water conditioner for fresh and salt water, soil, sand, and 2 dishes for food/water. The students are so excited to get these pets! The 2nd grade are learning about hermit crabs environmental needs.
