Garfield STEAM Academy

We are so proud to announce our 2024-2025 Garfield Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Kim King! Mrs. King has been teaching fourth and fifth grade here at Garfield since January 2009. She and her husband Kevin are lifelong Sandites who both graduated from Charles Page High School  Mrs. King is very active in sports all around Sand Springs. She is the treasurer for the WSA Soccer Club and can usually be found attending soccer, softball, football, or basketball games where she cheers on the Sandites and her two daughters, Kynlee and Keelynn. She is also a cheer coach for our fifth-grade Sandites. We are blessed and privileged to have her as a fourth-grade teacher at Garfield.  Congratulations, Mrs. King!!
