working kids

Fourth grade teacher Lisa Sander provided QuikTrip’s Curri+Q-Lum to her classes for some math practice. This program is designed to apply math concepts to real-world settings. Students got to work in groups as cashiers, inventory, gas pump, and customers. Each student got their own nametag, pencils, and cups to take home as a souvenir. To qualify, math teachers must be employed with a private or public independent school district within 30 miles of a QuikTrip location.
