Get ready for an action-packed week at Clyde Boyd Middle School (CBMS) and the Student Government Center (SGC)! From October 28 to November 1, we have a series of engaging activities lined up that promote community spirit and healthy choices.
Red Ribbon Week Kickoff – Monday, October 28
We’ll kick off the week with Red Ribbon Week, celebrating our commitment to staying drug-free. Students and staff are encouraged to wear red in support of this important initiative. Throughout the week, there will be themed dress-up days, allowing everyone to showcase their dedication to a drug-free lifestyle. Please remember that all costumes must adhere to the school dress code, and masks are not permitted.
CAFE DAYS – Tuesday and Wednesday, October 29-30
Join us for CAFE DAYS in the old CBMS gym on Tuesday and Wednesday! This is a fantastic opportunity to have lunch with your favorite Sandite student while connecting with our vibrant school community. Don’t miss out on visiting the Scholastic Book Fair, taking place in the CBMS Wendell Sharpton Library.
For those unable to attend in person, we offer an eWallet option for convenient shopping. Parents can set up an eWallet through the CBMS Scholastic homepage at Scholastic Book Fair. This allows students to shop at the book fair cash-free!
We look forward to a wonderful week filled with excitement and community spirit. Thank you for your continued support, and let’s make this a memorable experience for our fantastic students and families!
