Congratulations to Clyde Boyd Middle School eighth grade student Jacob Cochran, who recently earned 1st place at the Booker T. Washington Arrowfest on December 7th with an impressive score of 267! This marks Jacob’s first year on the archery team, and he’s certainly making a strong impression right from the start. Additionally, seventh grade student Kyley Moss placed 1st overall among the girls with a score of 266. These two young archers are showing incredible promise, and the future looks bright for our team!
Archery is a sport that requires patience, focus, and discipline, and our team exemplifies these qualities both on the range and in the classroom. Through the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP), we also celebrate academic achievement, and we are proud to announce that 21 of our archers have earned the prestigious Academic Archer accolade.
If you would like to Support Sandite Archery & Outdoor Education there is a fundraiser taking place through December 27th.
We are incredibly proud of all our students for their hard work, dedication, and achievements. Keep up the great work, and keep shining, young Sandites!
