At the June Sand Springs Board of Education meeting, the board recognized the Charles Page High School Varsity Baseball team. The team received the Sandite Spirit Award for playing an outstanding season during the 2023-24 school year. This spring, the team won their first regional championship since 2011. They also competed in the 6A state finals for the first time since 1978.
