Sandite STEM Teacher Kenneth Cole (pictured with Superintendent Sherry Durkee and Board Member Rusty Gunn) received the Sandite Coin of Excellence for his outstanding achievements in education. Recently, Mr. Cole was awarded the Middle School Educator Award for Outstanding Leadership and Excellence in STEM from the Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance (TRSA). In addition, Mr. Cole will receive $5000 from TRSA for his classroom.
