Happy Friday, Sandites! We will be in person bright and early Monday morning, with the exception of Angus Valley Elementary and the Early Childhood Education Center. Due to water line breaks, these two sites will be on Distance Learning. Angus will be on DL all week, and ECEC will be DL on Monday only unless otherwise notified next week.

Clyde Boyd Sixth Grade Center students were quickly evacuated to safety by site teachers and staff this morning when a fire broke out in a bathroom. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. The Fire Department was contacted immediately and was able to extinguish the fire, then cleared the 7th and 8th grade facility for students to reenter. The 6th grade students were quickly relocated to the Clyde Boyd Middle School Gymnasium for parents to pick up.
Students will not report to school in person tomorrow. Instead, tomorrow will be a distance learning day for sixth graders. Parents will need to pick up their students' belongings today after 1:00 pm. For questions, please call the sixth grade center at (918) 246-1535.

Sand Springs Public Schools will be closed due to inclement weather on Monday, December 14th. This will be a traditional snow day - not a Distance Learning day. Stay safe!

The 21st Century after school program at Garfield STEAM Academy and Northwoods Fine Arts Academy will be cancelled Thursday afternoon on November 19, 2020.

If your student's Chromebook is damaged during distance learning, here is the process for submitting that device for repair:
During the school day:
Devices can be dropped off at the school site that your student attends from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
After Hours:
Devices can be dropped off for repair at the attendance office the old Central Ninth Grade building (14 W. 4th St. Sand Springs, Oklahoma 74063) from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Parking can be found across the street from the old CNGC.
